January 30, 2009 -- Rehearsal Date Change ALERT!

Hello, MCSB Members!

This is a SPECIAL ALERT to all band members:

Due to the Mississippi Swing having a gig at the Governor’s Ball this Monday night (woo-hoo!), our MCSB rehearsal is shifted to TUESDAY this coming week.

Again:

NO MCSB REHEARSAL
MONDAY, FEB 2, 2009

MCSB WILL REHEARSE
ON TUESDAY, FEB 3, 2009.

Same time (7PM), same location.

SECTION LEADERS:
Please make sure EVERYONE in your section knows of this change.

MCSB PLAYERS:
You can save your section leader a lot of hassle if you will simply shoot him or her a quick email (or make a phone call) and let them know you know about the rehearsal date change.

Don’t know who your section leader is? Or don’t know the email address or phone number? Just head for our website. Go to http://www.mcsb.us/Contacts.html and go down to the bottom of the page. You’ll find more than you ever wanted to know!

NEW PHOTOS PAGE ON WEBSITE
While you’re on the website, check out the new PHOTOS page, accessed by a button on the top of the main page. A big round of applause to Greg Palmer (Horn) who has taken on the job of setting up and maintaining this photos page. Thank you, Greg!

This page is just getting started, so it doesn’t have a lot on it yet. If you have some MCSB photos that you would like to donate to put up on the page, please get them to Greg for posting.

NEW VOLUNTEER! THANK YOU!
And another huge round of applause to Marianna White (wife of Bill White, Quartermaster and Bari Sax), who has volunteered to take on the job of Governed Living Facility Coordinator, making sure all retirement home, nursing home, and assisted living facility activies coordinators know about our upcoming concerts. Thank you, Marianna!

See you at rehearsal TUESDAY!

Take care,

      David
