Playback Links:

You can listen to some of the tunes we will be playing in our concert through these links.

Thanks to Bobby McClellan for supplying the links!

THE WALZING CAT: Played by the Boston Pops. (Note: there were several videos from bands, even all-state bands, playing this, but WE played it better than they did, even at our first rehearsal. So for reference and learning, we can listen here to the "horse's mouth." The Boston Pops is the group Anderson wrote the tune for originally.)

VALDRES MARCH: Played by the Swedish National Wind Band.

MIDWAY MARCH: Played by the Hartland Community Band, Hartland, WI, Aug 2009

ZAMPA OVERTURE: Played by the Comique Opera of Paris, an excellent rendition, but still, the orchestral version. Can't find a band version yet, but we should definitely try to imitate the cleanliness and phrasing of this performance.
