Dear Friends of the Mississippi Community Symphonic Band,
How would you like to be a part of a new team? To be involved with a great group of people and make a significant difference? To be an integral part of bringing joy to thousands of people, to touch people’s lives in ways you cannot begin to imagine?
Now you can.
As you know, the MCSB has experienced extraordinary success over our more than ten year history. Until recently, it’s been the musicians and a few family members who have made this happen.
But why should the musicians have all the fun?
Now you too can be a part of the incredible joy of bringing MCSB concerts to our communities.
We have now formed the MCSB AUXILIARY, an organization of people who do NOT play in the band, with the mission of taking on many of the non-playing services so essential to our concerts.
We need YOU to be a part of this wonderful new group.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re a CEO or a student, an organizing wizard or a smiling face and willing pair of hands, we have a place for you.
Do you enjoy greeting people? Doing paperwork? Moving equipment? Organizing things? Putting together social events? Taking notes? There are plenty of things that need to be done. All we need is you to help.
You may not realize – the MCSB is a phenomenon among community bands. Our first ten years has brought success unprecedented for this type of group. The MCSB AUXILIARY will play a key role in moving the band into the future.
You can be a part of this future.
If you would like to be a part of this group, you can fill in the form here. Or you can give us your information on the “Stay In Touch” form in your concert program (be sure to mention you'd like more information on the MCSB Auxiliary).
You can make a difference. Jump on the bandwagon now, and be a part of taking the MCSB into the future!
We look forward to meeting you soon.
Don West, MCSB Auxiliary Chairman
