The following is a list of VOLUNTEER jobs we currently need someone to help with in the MCSB. If you'd like to volunteer for one of these jobs (or any other), or just get more information, click on the Volunteer HERE! button below.
A huge round of applause to Linda Foreman and her husband, Terry (who doesn't even play ain instrument in the band!) for all the wonderful work they do keeping our music library functioning.
But it's a BIG job, and they can use all the help they can get. If you'd like to help with this - anything from just sorting some music to fine-toothing the library holdings, please click the button below. .
STAGE SETUP AND STRIKE HELPERS
We can ALWAYS use people to help set up the stage for concerts, and to help take it down afterwards.
The staff at the CUMC venue does a marvelous job of putting all the chairs and stands on the stage; we need our helpers to make sure the chairs and stands are in the proper rows in the proper numbers, and to make sure each stand has a light and that the light is plugged in and working.
After the concert, we need helpers to put the MCSB stand lights and extension cords back into the storage bins, so we have them available for the next concert.
If you can help with this, please click the button below. .
If you are interested in helping but aren't ready for a longer commitment, volunteer anyway. We always need helpers for various tasks in the band, especially for concerts. Everything from helping sort music to manning the concessions table in the concert lobby to setting up and taking down the stage - chairs, stands, lights, electric cords - before and after concerts, writing, grantwriting, designing, website work, printing things, scanning things, almost any skill you have and are willing to contribute, we'll be happy to help find a way to put it to use.
Just click the button below.
More jobs will be posted here as we think of them.
